Terms of Service

1. The Service

AI Home Helper is a household management assistant that helps you coordinate shopping, maintenance, family routines, and home projects. The Service is provided by AI Home Helper, operated from London, United Kingdom.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Accounts are created after a successful Credit purchase. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Credits

Credits are digital tokens used to pay for AI-powered actions within the Service. One Credit costs $0.10 / €0.10 depending on your payment currency. Credits are not money, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred between users or exchanged back for currency except as described in our Refund Policy.

Credits do not expire. We may change the cost of specific actions with 30 days' notice, but we will never retroactively change the value of Credits you've already purchased.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by PayPal. By making a purchase, you agree to PayPal's terms for the payment itself. Prices shown include applicable taxes where required.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, use it for unlawful purposes, or share your account with people outside your household beyond the provided family sharing features.

6. AI-generated content

The Service uses AI to generate suggestions, plans, and reminders. While we aim for usefulness and accuracy, AI output may occasionally be wrong or incomplete. Always use your own judgement — particularly for anything involving safety, health, or significant purchases.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, and its underlying technology belong to us. Content you create (notes, preferences, household data) belongs to you. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the Service.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account without cause, unused Credits will be refunded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory consumer rights under UK law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your right to bring a claim in your local courts as a consumer.
